Early AngelList was a genuinely good idea. Founders could find investors, investors could find deals, and the whole thing ran on mutual interest rather than cold outreach. Everyone was on it. Then they raised a lot of capital, pivoted to fund administration, and that original mission quietly disappeared. Nobody replaced it, at least not for SaaS. So we did.
UnlockedVC.com is a free matchmaking platform connecting SaaS and enterprise software founders with the VCs and lenders who actually invest in the space and want to connect. It’s intentionally simple: founders build a profile in about 15 seconds and browse investors filtered by check size, stage, thesis, and SaaS subcategory. Investors do the same in reverse. When both sides express interest in each other and opt in to and intro, a match is made and contact details are shared.
Minimize imageEdit imageDelete imageWe built UnlockedVC purely for deal flow and for the SaaS community. There is no subscription fee, no success fee, no carry, and no upsell. It’s free for founders, free for investors, and that won’t change. Blossom Street invests exclusively in enterprise software, and we wanted a better way to find great companies. If we turn out to be the right investor, great. But we’re fully aware this opens the door to capital well beyond our own fund, and we think that’s exactly how it should work. A better-connected SaaS ecosystem is good for everyone in it.
UnlockedVC is live today at unlockedvc.com. We’ve already onboarded nearly 100 investors and lenders focused on software. If you’re a SaaS founder raising capital, or an investor looking for deal flow in the space, sign-up takes about 15 seconds. Come join us.
